Prior to joining the team at the Indy Chamber, Mark served as Director of Engagement and Interim President of Develop Indy, the Marion County/Indianapolis local economic development organization. In this role, Mark served as a liaison for companies wishing to relocate or expand in Marion County/Indianapolis, assisting them through the local regulatory process, including zoning, public works, licensing and permitting. Mark also worked with business, trade and community organizations on various redevelopment and quality of life projects on behalf of the City of Indianapolis. Mark serves on several professional and community boards, including EmployIndy, Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority and Midtown Indy.

Tim started with the Indy Chamber in the winter of 2016.  Prior to joining the Business Advocacy Team Tim served as The Managing Director of Instructional Operations for ITT Technical Institute’s School of Criminal Justice.  There he managed the School of Criminal Justice in the areas of curriculum development, faculty evaluations and advising regulatory issues.  Tim has over 10 years of experience working in the state house, most recently as the Director of Legislative and Policy Services for the Indiana Department of Correction.  Tim received his Bachelor’s Degree from Fisk University, earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and his Masters in Public Affairs Degree from IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs Program in Indianapolis.

Lisa has been with the Indy Chamber since 2010.  Lisa’s responsibilities include coordinating Council and Committees meetings for Business Advocacy, managing Legislative Events such as Pancakes and Politics, Legislative Receptions and HobNob.  Lisa also manages the Indy Chambers Green Business Initiative, as well as handling all Indy Chamber event sponsorships.  Prior to joining the Indy Chamber, Lisa served as Area Director for Top Notch Indiana.

Matt conducts policy research and supports the Indy Chamber’s legislative agenda at the state and local level. He manages projects for the Indy Chamber, focusing on mass transit, Unigov, internships, and equal rights. Matt previously worked at the IU Public Policy Institute and Stand for Children Indiana. Before that, Matt began his career as a public school teacher in Philadelphia. A native of Indianapolis, he received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s of Public Affairs Degree from IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Indianapolis. He lives in Fletcher Place Neighborhood in Indianapolis and serves on the board of Southeast Neighborhood Development (SEND).

Malika serves as fundraiser and political advisor for the bipartisan Business Advocacy Committee. Malika received her Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University Bloomington in May 2015. During her undergraduate, Malika was a legislative intern for the Indiana House of Representatives and a campaign intern and that transitioned to a full time staffer during the 2014 General Election for the Indiana House Republican Campaign Committee. Before joining the Indy Chamber, she was a Legislative Assistant for the Indiana House Republican staff.
